A renowned local haunt for many years, Capers (as it's known for short) is also a favourite among visiting celebrities to the region.
The likes of Nicole and Matthew, as well as Hugh Jackman and a range of national sporting legends and icons have all experienced the Capers vibe - and they've left their signatures to prove it.
The hotel has a wall donned with dinner plates signed by visiting celebrities.
Capers is part of the Airlie Beach Hotel complex, situated at the epicentre of Airlie Beach in the beautiful Whitsundays in North Queensland.
Airlie Beach Hotel General Manager Mark Bell said the multi-award-winning restaurant had been the bar and restaurant of choice for locals for a number of years.
"I guess good word spreads and we've certainly had our fair share of celebrities who have chosen to dine with us. We have a wall of "celebrity plates" and invite well known personalities to sign a dinner plate when they are here.
"Our enthusiastic staff are always thrilled to meet and serve our celebrity diners."
