Tourists rate Airlie Beach Hotel among the top of its class in Queensland

The Airlie Beach Hotel is officially one of the best hotels in Queensland, after being crowned a finalist in this year's HotelClub awards.
The iconic hotel received a Finalist Award in the Best Hotel in Queensland category.
Unlike other awards which have selected judging panels, the HotelClub awards are judged by the biggest critics of all - consumers.
The awards involved a global consumer survey, in which 70,000 responses were received.
HotelClub is a world-leading global accommodation wholesaler which uses the web to offer over 48,000 accommodation choices in over 5,900 cities around the world.
Airlie Beach Hotel General Manager Mark Bell said:
"This accolade is very important to us because it is the guests who have the final say, and they are the best judges of all.
"It is pleasing to learn that so many past guests were so impressed with their stay that they took the time out to nominate us for this award.
"I believe the award is a real credit to our staff who go above and beyond to ensure our guests have a memorable stay here in Airlie Beach."
Last month, the Airlie Beach Hotel won two state awards at the Queensland Restaurant and Catering Awards in Brisbane.
Mangrove Jacks was crowned Queensland's Best Casual Dining restaurant and Capers Bar/Grill won the award for Professional Development (under 100 staff).
