All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Airlie Beach Hotel is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, email, mail, fax or directly through our website. A Membership Form is also required to be completed for membership of the Airlie Beach Hotel VIP Rewards Program.

Staying at Airlie Beach Hotel: Hotel Guests are required to complete a Guest Registration Form at check-in which requires personal information including name, residential address and telephone number. A credit card imprint is also taken to cover room costs as well as charges for any telephone usage, dining in hotel restaurants, bottle shop or any other purchases. The credit card imprint is destroyed on check-out. Unless you specifically authorize in writing to facilitate future stays, credit card details are deleted within 48 hours of the date of check-out. These details are entered at check-in to the customer relationship data-base in the EASE Hotel Management System used by Airlie Beach Hotel, being On-line and On-Premise software. Data Protection procedures are adopted by both the software provider and Airlie Beach Hotel. Guest Registration Forms are kept in accordance with legal requirements and are subsequently destroyed in a secure manner.

Airlie Beach Hotel Payments Security Policy: Airlie Beach Hotel uses a number of payment gateways depending on the goods or services being provided. Some are provided by third parties where reliance is placed on the integrity of the payment gateway and their specific data protection and data privacy policies.

Most credit card transactions are processed through the EFTPOS provided by licensed banks in Australia, being Australia’s most widely used cards system. Airlie Beach Hotel uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for online ordering of liquor from the hotel Bottle Shop. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments undertaken in accordance with the eWay policies noted below:

  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Airlie Beach Hotel or any outside party.
  • All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
  • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
  • eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
  • eWAY at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Airlie Beach Hotel
