Collection of Information
In order to use the Airlie Beach Hotel website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Airlie Beach Hotel is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, email, mail, fax or directly through our website. A Membership Form is also required to be completed for membership of the Airlie Beach Hotel Local Rewards Membership Program.
Staying at Airlie Beach Hotel
Hotel Guests are required to complete a Guest Registration Form at check-in which requires personal information including name, residential address and telephone number. Unless you specifically authorize in writing to facilitate future stays, credit card details are stored in a password protected vault and deleted within 14 days of the date of check-out. These details are entered at check-in to the RMS Property Management System used by Airlie Beach Hotel, being On-line and On-Premise software. Data Protection procedures are adopted by both the software provider and Airlie Beach Hotel. Guest Registration Forms are kept in accordance with legal requirements and are subsequently destroyed in a secure manner.
Airlie Beach Hotel Local Rewards Membership Program
In order to become a member of this program you are required to complete a Membership Form, which includes name, email, postal address as well as telephone numbers and day and month of birth. This form is retained indefinitely and maintained in a secure location.
Use of Collection Information
Any details collected from Airlie Beach Hotel customers are required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.
Storage of Collected Information

The financial information is not retained after your order has been completed

Airlie Beach Hotel Payments Security Policy
Airlie Beach Hotel uses a number of payment gateways depending on the goods or services being provided. Some are provided by third parties where reliance is placed on the integrity of the payment gateway and their specific data protection and data privacy policies.
Most credit card transactions are processed through the EFTPOS provided by licensed banks in Australia, being Australia’s most widely used cards system.
QikID Collection Notice
In accordance with the Liquor Act 1992, we are required to scan your photo identification before you enter the premises of “The Pub” after 10pm, Monday – Sunday to check if you have been issued with a banning order that applies to this premises. You may also be prevented from entering if you are subject to a ban initiated by this venue or you are subject to a banning order or venue ban for another venue. If we do not scan your identification as required by the Liquor Act, then we must not allow you to enter the premises.
The Liquor Act exempts certain persons from having their ID scanned, such as temporary or permanent residents of the regulated premises. The full list of exemptions is outlined in section 173 EH(7) of the Liquor Act. The personal information we collect when scanning your ID is limited to name, date of birth and photo. It may only be used to:
- identify if you have been issued with a current banning order or licensee ban
- create a venue ban.
All personal information is stored at the venue and by the approved operator in a way that protects it from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your personal information is automatically and permanently deleted from the ID scanner system 30 days after it is first entered into the system. However, information on banned people will be held in the system for the period of the ban, which may exceed 30 days.
You may request access to the personal information that is held about you. You can contact us or our approved operator to request this information. You will need to provide photo ID before any information can be released. Some exceptions apply. You can also ask us to correct the personal information that is held about you. We will require satisfactory proof of the inaccuracy before we consider correcting your personal information.
